Dynepic Wins SBIR Phase 1 Contract to Further Expand MOTAR!

It may be the end of the year, but Dynepic is still crushing it!

We’re stoked to share that we’ve won a $75k Phase 1 AFWERX Open Topic SBIR to conceptualize an open standard for digital asset certification, remix tracking, and lesson linking.

This program will commence efforts to further adapt Dynepic’s MOTAR® Platform so the United States Air Force (USAF) can manage an asset’s “digital thread” and ensure training applications are leveraging the most current, up-to-date, and certified models available.

Krissa Watry, Dynepic Co-founder and CEO, explained further: “By the end of next month, we expect to have a fully conceptualized methodology for storing an authoritative model, digital twin, or simulation on MOTAR, and allow for proper asset permissions management on who is allowed to discover, use, and modify, and then track all the uses and approved remixes of the original authoritative source – all within a one-stop shop for discovery and distribution of training applications”

Streamlining the USAF’s training data sources and how they are managed is a critical step toward creating a successful Military Metaverse, especially with the increase in adoption of eXtended Reality (XR) training technologies across the USAF.

“Dynepic will not rest until our Warfighters have the modern education and training systems they need for success, and this SBIR is a critical step towards creating standards to enable the Military Metaverse,” Watry concluded.
