    Position: Senior Cyber Security Engineer Labor Cat: CS 5

    Salary Range: $137K-$215K

    In this position, as the Cyber Security Engineer at Dynepic, you will lead and manage both strategic and tactical operations of the IT infrastructure support, cyber and information security. This employee will build human and technical processes to update Dynepic’s security automation with protections from newly reported threat and attack vectors, attacks observed first-hand from security analytics Dynepic has in place, and in response to government’s authorizing official and information system security managers who work with Dynepic on maintaining an authority to operate (ATO).

    Scope of work:

    • Ability to design, implement and operate network security technologies in mixed environments from on-premises to cloud environments
    • Provide IT security engineering, integration services and solutions, including malicious code detection, intrusion detection, and cyber security tool development and integration
    • Drive continuous improvement of network security workflows and processes through automation and innovation
    • Perform penetration tests to evaluate system security, maintaining proficiency in operation tools, creating countermeasures, and identifying trends in adversary behaviors and vulnerabilities.
    • Lead developers to mitigate any security findings as part of the continuous ATO process.
    • Design, build, and maintain DDoS solutions and implement security controls
    • Build behavioral analytics to detect insider threats
    • Create detection logic tailored to the enterprise threat landscape using industry-specific intelligence and develop use cases, dashboards, and policies
    • Respond to high-priority requests for information/custom detections from key partners
    • Perform other security operations necessary for continuous monitoring and triaging the platform.
    • Plan, implement, and maintain network-related products such as routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls
    • Working knowledge of Angular, Javascript, and/or document-oriented databases (MongoDB)
    • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
    • Develop cross domain solution to assist with secure and authorized data transfer from IL4 to IL6 environments
    • Understand how to implement a zero trust framework within a cloud native approach, realizing the changes in the threat landscape and how to utilize defense-in-depth measures to mitigate the risks

    What we’re looking for:

    • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor'sMaster’s Degree in Computer Science or( or related discipline) or relevant experience..
    • IAT Level III certified (e.g., CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP)
    • 10 years of experience with cyber security initiatives
    • Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
    • Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
    • Strong knowledge in security fundamentals: secure transport (e.g., SSL, TLS), identity management (e.g., certificates, PKI)
    • Experienced in securing networks at scale, along with network security techniques and technology (e.g. authentication, DMZs, firewalls, micro-segmentation, network ACLs, proxies, zero trust).
    • Solid hands-on technical background particularly in managing highly complex, multi-platform environments (servers, storage, networks, security, virtualization, systems monitoring and management).
    • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Position: Lead UI Designer Labor Cat: D-UI 4

    Salary Range:  $106K – $153K

    We are looking for a Lead UI/UX Designer, preferably with seven plus years of experience, to join the Product Team. This is NOT an entry-level position. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer. Additionally, you will work with the Chief Executive Officer and closely collaborate with UX Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers. Your role will primarily be creating and overseeing the user interface design of our digital platform and products – ensuring a seamless user experience and brand look. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, works well with a team, and enjoys mentoring other designers

    Scope of work:

    • Create new features and improve current features for our existing platform.
    • Translating user and client feedback into valuable solutions, collaborating across departments with developers, engineers, and product managers.
    • Working cross-functionally ensures work is being executed to the highest quality.
    • Expanding and refining the brand guidelines of the platform
    • Identify points of friction and create improvement solutions.
    • Participate in day-to-day meetings with the UX team, weekly standups, and management meetings.
    • Explain your decision-making process and what led you to make the best possible decision for the client.
    • Owning UI flows so they are consistent from start to finish.

    What we’re looking for:

      • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
      • Self-starter with the ability to work remotely.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Experience Design, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, or similar field
      • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in tech/startups or digital product agencies
      • This is not an entry-level position. Please only apply if you have extensive real-world experience.
      • Experience developing and shipping applications or software.
      • Web App and mobile app design experience.
      • Proficiency in design software (Figma, Illustrator, Jira)
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, willing to go the extra mile.
      • Are a self-starter and can lead a project with little direction for impromptu tasks
      • Experience with multimedia design, brand systems, working with teams, and creating simple solutions for complex problems.
      • The creativity to design for the future, but the knowledge to scale back ideas when necessary.

    Position: Database Developer III

    Salary Range:  $121K - $166K

    Dynepic is hiring for a talented and specialized Database Developer who wants to join a team of equally gifted engineers and developers working on cutting edge technology. You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and developing PostgreSQL database elements (RDS instances, tables, functions) to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security.     Scope of work:

    • Collaborate on architecture and implementation of database related development.
    • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of RDS-based Postgres databases.
    • Design and create Postgres tables with appropriate primary and foreign keys, indices, and sharding strategies as required. 
    • Design and write Postgres SQL queries with joins, subqueries, aggregates, and functions.
    • Monitor, review, and tune performance of production database objects (tables, functions, etc.).
    • Support development team to allow back-end services efficient/quick access to Postgres data.
    • Monitor performance of overall database for SLAs/degradation.
    • Manage and clean the database audit trail and archive logs.
    • Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place.
    • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
    • Stay current with PostgreSQL features, trends, and best practices.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
    • 5+ years of experience in software development/IT, specifically as a Database Developer.
    • Ability to design and write complex Postgres SQL queries with joins, subqueries, aggregates, and functions.
    • Postgres DB installation and support experience.

    • Experience with database monitoring and management tools
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, willing to go the extra mile.
