Position: Senior Cyber Security Engineer 

In this position, as the Senior Cyber Security Engineer at Dynepic, you will lead and manage IT infrastructure support, cyber and information security strategy, and tactical operations. This employee will build human and technical processes to update Dynepic’s security automation with protections from newly reported threat and attack vectors, attacks observed first-hand from security analytics Dynepic has in place, and in response to government’s authorizing official and information system security managers who work with Dynepic on achieving/maintaining an authority to operate (ATO).

Scope of Work:

  • Design, implement and operate network security technologies in mixed environments from on-premises to cloud environments
  • Provide IT security engineering, integration services and solutions, including malicious code detection, intrusion detection, and cyber security tool development and integration
  • Drive continuous improvement of network security workflows and processes through automation and innovation
  • Perform penetration tests to evaluate system security, maintaining proficiency in operation tools, creating countermeasures, and identifying trends in adversary behaviors and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead developers to mitigate any security findings as part of the continuous ATO process.
  • Design, build, and maintain DDoS solutions and implement security controls
  • Build behavioral analytics to detect insider threats
  • Create detection logic tailored to the enterprise threat landscape using industry-specific intelligence and develop use cases, dashboards, and policies
  • Respond to high-priority requests for information/custom detections from key partners
  • Perform other security operations necessary for continuous monitoring and triaging the platform.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain network-related products such as routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Develop cross domain solution to assist with secure and authorized data transfer from IL4 to IL6 environments
  • Implement a zero-trust framework within a cloud native approach, realizing the changes in the threat landscape and how to utilize defense-in-depth measures to mitigate the risks
  • Work collaboratively with the government to fully realize ATO with a certificate to field model for applications to deploy in Dynepic’s platform boundary
  • Work across Dynepic functional areas – SW Factory, DevOps, QA, Dev, Design, Product, Programs, etc. to ensure the RMF process is being maintained 

Qualifications:

  • Hold at least a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • IAT Level III certified
  • 8+ years of experience with cyber security initiatives
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program
  • Strong knowledge in security fundamentals: secure transport (e.g., SSL, TLS), identity management (e.g., certificates, PKI)
  • Experienced in securing networks at scale, along with network security techniques and technology (e.g. authentication, DMZs, firewalls, micro-segmentation, network ACLs, proxies, zero trust)
  • Working knowledge of Angular, Javascript, and/or document-oriented databases (MongoDB)
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
  • Solid hands-on technical background particularly in managing highly complex, multi-platform environments (servers, storage, networks, security, virtualization, systems monitoring and management)

Position: Backend and API Engineer

In this position, as a Backend and API Engineer, you will be challenged with architecting and implementing internal and external APIs for our DX platform services, all while ensuring proper architecture for speed and scalability. In this role you will help manage our platform microservices and APIs to ensure our vendors can securely activate and communicate through our network.

Position: Sr. Solutions Architect  

In this position, as the Sr. Solutions Architect at Dynepic, you’ll help guide our team by mapping out solutions to some of the most complex technical challenges that will power the future of knowledge for a better tomorrow. Dynepic’s DX platform (which is white labeled to the US Government as MOTAR) is in the integration phase of the SDLC process, and this position will ensure it is built within DoD cloud architecture requirements as well as scale up to meet anticipated high demand. 

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect who can architect but also put fingers to keyboard to help implement. An ideal candidate will be highly collaborative with our elite team to help scale our current development stack to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Scope of Work:

  • Architect secure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS GovCloud 
  • Develop CI/CD pipeline solutions for both the DX and MOTAR platforms
  • Develop architectural solution for the DX, MOTAR Impact Level (IL) 2, 4, 6 as well as an airgapped solution, ensuring a consistent code base across all the solutions
  • Understand DISA Cross Domain Solution (CDS) requirements so information can securely flow from MOTAR IL 4 to 6 environments, and where allowed, from MOTAR IL 6 back down to IL 4 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Lead developers to mitigate any security findings as part of the continuous ATO process
  • Manage highly complex, multi-platform environments (servers, storage, networks, security, virtualization, systems monitoring and management)
  • Provide technical recommendations with rationale to ensure high availability and low latency 
  • Perform other security operations necessary for continuous monitoring and triaging the platform
  • Lead discussions about complex solution design tradeoffs and drive conflict resolution
  • Ability to work collaborative with team to create roadmap to help scale platform across government and commercial markets and ensure platform services are architected to meet user load requirements
  • Ability to create and manage architecture documentation
  • Ability to explain difficult architectural issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualification

Position: Mid-Level Graphic Designer

To be successful as a mid-level graphic designer at Dynepic, this person will partner with our design and marketing teams to create and maintain our social marketing and product assets. From concept through execution, they will bring their creativity to the table every day and a passion for building and expanding our brand standards, keeping them relevant and consistent across outlets.  

Scope of Work:

  • Create pitch decks, social graphics, infographics, and internal documents to support all departments; video experience Is a plus! 
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule. Flexibility for change Is a must! 
  • Work autonomously to prioritize and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines, communicating cross-team any roadblocks or changes. This includes being able to digest feedback and iterate accordingly. 
  • Convert complex metrics/large amounts of data into simplistic easy to understand graphics 
  • Maintain brand library for brand assets such as logos, colors, guidelines, and illustrations

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • BS/BA or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on digital design and brand development
  • 3+ years of marketing experience

Position: DevOps Engineer

In this position, as a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated team of engineers all working together to solve complex problems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, fault tolerant IT infrastructure in the AWS cloud and on hybrid-cloud and on-premises infrastructures, developing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and implementing robust monitoring solutions. The successful candidate for this position will have great critical thinking skills, ability to learn quickly, and be a team player. They will also have experience with best development practices, Agile methodology, and DevOps principles.

  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to create highly available and fault tolerant infrastructure
  • Containerize applications using Docker
  • Use container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Rancher to manage existing Kubernetes clusters
  • Use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the cloud provider of choice while also remaining as cloud agnostic as possible
