Position: Front End Developer  

In this position, you will be responsible for implementing front-end designs for our DX platform services (immersive learning management system, user engagement, chat, video, etc.) which are seamlessly linked to our platform developer studio tools and APIs.

Scope of work:

  • High proficiency in Angular 9
  • High proficiency in coding pixel perfect HTML, CSS
  • Proficient with jQuery implementation and libraries such as LESS, SASS and Bootstrap
  • Keen eye for details and UI implementation
  • Some experience with NodeJS desired
  • Work with a cross-functional team in developing API architectures
  • Will be working on a high availability online platform within a scalable PaaS architecture
  • Will be in a highly collaborative Agile development team
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs as necessary and improve usability
  • Detect and fulfill front-end requirements
  • Drive for high-quality execution, technical and operational excellence

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years development experience
  • 3+ years development experience with Bootstrap and Angular 
  • Ideal candidate will have some experience working in/with US military
  • Proven experience delivering clean code, maintaining design, user experience strategy-goals and brand requirements throughout the development process
  • In depth knowledge of software design, cyber security, and development principles
  • Self-starter with ability to work remotely.
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) must be obtained within six months of employment

Position: Software Engineer

In this position, you will be challenged with leading the DX platform development including our platform services (immersive learning management system, user network, chat, video, etc.) which are seamlessly linked to our platform developer studio tools and APIs., refining our current enterprise platform, services, and helping to scale our offerings.

Scope of work: 

  • High proficiency in Javascript, Node.js, Bootstrap, and Angular 9
  • High proficiency with document-oriented databases (MongoDB)
  • Proficient with DevOps on Amazon Web Services
  • Proficient with Git workflow and CI/CD using Github/Gitlab or similar
  • Proficient with Docker and deployment of Docker images (Rancher, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Work with a cross-functional team in developing API architectures
  • Will be working on a high availability online platform within a scalable SaaS and PaaS architectures
  • Will be developing secure applications driven by platform services
  • Will be in a highly collaborative Agile development team
  • Manage software development lifecycle from ideation all the way through product release
  • Architect and implement complex programming solutions using modern development frameworks 
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs as necessary and improve usability
  • Detect and fulfill front-end and back-end requirements
  • Drive for high-quality execution, technical and operational excellence 

What we’re looking for:

Position: DevOps Engineer

In this position, as a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated team of engineers all working together to solve complex problems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, fault tolerant IT infrastructure in the AWS cloud and on hybrid-cloud and on-premises infrastructures, developing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and implementing robust monitoring solutions. The successful candidate for this position will have great critical thinking skills, ability to learn quickly, and be a team player. They will also have experience with best development practices, Agile methodology, and DevOps principles.

Scope of work: 

  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to create highly available and fault tolerant infrastructure
  • Containerize applications using Docker
  • Use container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Rancher to manage existing Kubernetes clusters
  • Use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the cloud provider of choice while also remaining as cloud agnostic as possible
  • Develop complex networking solutions using services such as VPCs, Subnets, route tables, etc. 
  • Use Git along with GitLab to track changes to our IaC solution over time
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for hosting MongoDB
  • Configure Prometheus for monitoring and alerting inside Kubernetes
  • Continuously deploy changes using ArgoCD
  • Work on a highly collaborative DevOps team
  • Create and manage architecture documentation

What we’re looking for:

  • Top Secret Clearance Desired, or ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS
  • Possess strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
  • Knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with MongoDB, NodeJs
  • Knowledge and hands-on implementation experience of containerization with Docker and using Rancher or EKS for container orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform for spinning up cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery (CD) tools such as ArgoCD to rapidly deploy changes into multiple environments
  • Knowledge of Kustomize (Kubernetes object customization)
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright
  • In depth knowledge of software design, cyber security, and DevOps principles
  • Self-starter with ability to work remotely
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) must be obtained within six months of employment

Preferred qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher
  • Experience deploying software applications in cloud agnostic (e.g., hybrid and on-premises) infrastructures
